Within its Recital Studio, a subtle challenge emerged—lingering food aromas from adjacent dining venues occasionally permeated the studio, subtly distracting from the immersive ambiance that audiences and performers expected.
Esplanade turned to Equal Strategy to develop a refined solution that would uphold the venue’s sensory integrity and artistic excellence without compromising its prestige.

We tactfully addressed the environmental impact of adjacent F&B aromas with a scent strategy that neutralized odours without disrupting the Recital Studio’s atmosphere or cultural stature.
High-Freshness Fine Fragrance Design
We selected a premium-grade scent blend of bergamot and lime—chosen for its natural freshness, clean citrus notes, and subtle sophistication, known for neutralising ambient food odours effectively.
Purpose-Driven Placement
Scent diffusion systems were strategically positioned to diffuse in the air conditioning ducts to optimise airflow and subtly infuse the space without distracting from acoustics or visual elements.
